Numerous works were recognized at National Exhibitions of Traditional Chinese Paintings as well as collected by the Guangdong Art Gallery Selection of Paintings exhibited in Singapore and Canada

1994

1995

"Fang Xiang's Album of Paintings" was published by Guangdong Tourism Publishing House; Created traditional Chinese paintings for the Thai Imperial Art Academy; Elected member of the Council of Guangdong Artists Association, member of the China Artists Association; A dozen works including "January in Chaozhou and Shantou" were selected as part of the collection featured in the "Treasure of Modern Landscape Paintings" published by Henan Art Publishing House; "A Rural New Year Celebration" won the Bronze Medal for Guangdong Province at the 8th Annual National Art Exhibition. This work was collected by the Guangdong Art Gallery; Selected works exhibited in Japan.

1996

Held "Fang Xiang Collection of Paintings"; Exhibition at City Gallery in Hong Kong;
Published "Mood of Southern China" Collection; "Banana Grove" won the "China Tourism Arts Exhibition" Award of Excellence

1997

"Returning Home" was collected by Shenzhen Art Gallery; "Back Home Lane" was collected by the China Foreign Ministry"; Sunset Glow "was collected by the China Military Museum Second exhibition held at City Gallery in Hong Kong; "Flower Hot House" won the Gold Medal at the China Painting Exhibition in Guangdong Province; "The Home Town of the Dragon" won the Award of Excellence at the 4th Annual Physical Educalion Art Exhibition; "Spring Warmth" won the Award of Excellence at the Guangdong Provincial Youth Art Exhibition; Published "A Residence of Solitaire" and "Fang Xiang's Latest Works"

1998

Held "The Tranquil Impressions of Southern China" Exhibition at The Eastern Gallery in Chicago, Illinois; Participated in "Star of the Century" Biennale Chinese Art Exhibition held in Toronto, Canada and Shanghai; Participated in the French Culture Association's three-man Exhibition held in Singapore; Participated in an Art Exhibition of Guangzhou Artists as part of the Tenth Anniversary Celebration of Sister City Between Guangzhou and Frankfurt/Main
